I don't know which of them fixed the problem (maybe more than one), but now, the laptop switches correctly from "Power4Gear Battery Saving" and "Power4Gear High Performance" when plug and unplug the power adapter and the cpu frequency is correctly scaled in both modes having a correct behaviour.
